Feature and Follow #6

Q: Books are turned into movies all the time! Turn it around. What movie would make a great book?

Great question, but I am afraid I will fail to answer it! I watch about two tv shows a week that I record so I can watch them whenever I am in-between books, and I can not remember the last time I watched a movie that wasn't a book first. My Fiance thinks I'm crazy at times, but books are so much more interesting to me than movies. The only reason I watch those are to compare them to the book and see how the studio and director decided to interpret things. Now that I think about it, besides Twilight coming out, I can't think of a single movie in theaters right now.

What about you? Or any of you watch any good movies lately?

  1. I had a hard time too with answering because most movies I love were books first.

  2. Hopping through. I saw the new James Bond movie last week. It was actually pretty good and I don't usually like that sort of thing.

  3. Yes. That's true. That's probably why most of us pick from TV shows. LOL. Btw, I really love your font. Looks like really pretty handwriting. ;)

  4. I went old school, with Willow, because so much of today's tv/movies are adaptations of books. New follower via GFC.

  13. I had a hard time picking a book as well, because most movies I watch were already books, or wouldn't be good as a book.

  14. I have to agree that books are more interesting than movies. I do enjoy watching movies that are made from books if I have already read the book. I only go to the theater if there is something extra special that comes along.
Following back and looking forward to your posts.

  30. I agree, I always find books so much more interesting than a movie! But, my boyfriend is a HUGE movie lover so we argue on that a lot. Haha.

  31. I agree with you completely. Movies are no fun because there is no room to imagine. You see what you see.
