This week's question:

Q: When you step out of your USUAL genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?

If I decide to read a book, it usually has a healthy dose of some sort of relationship/romance in it. To me a book just isn't the same without a couple of the characters exploring that part of there feelings. On the rare occasion that I do step out of paranormal romance or romance, I will either read paranormal or mystery. I don't really know what books are best for paranormal or mystery, but I guess a good book that fits into the mystery category that I read recently was TEN. Great book that had me quickly flipping through the pages! One of the best I have read so far that fits into that genre.
What do you guys read when you step outside the box?

  4. I'm a big fan of romance, too! I will read other books that don't have romance, but my favorites are usually ones with some romance. I like reading about people falling in love.

I also love to read books about LGBT and issues teens face today (suicide, drug addiction, bullying etc.). Actually those themes pretty much guarantee I'll get around to reading a book!
